Chinanews, Wuhan, Oct. 19 – A matchmaking fair for old people was held in Wuhan, Hubei
Province on Tuesday. Some 300 people participated in the fair.
Local Association for the Aged held this fair to celebrate the Double Ninth Day (the 9th day
of the 9th lunar month), the seniors festival. The association revealed that only 60 old
people applied to participate in the activity, but 300 people showed up at last.
Many old men were eager to choose their girlfriends, and their children also came to help
their parents in the activity. The association announced that it will organize similar
activities in the near future.
